Jade Doreen Waller began her journey in lecturing part time and freelancing as an illustrator but continued to make art in-between. Since graduating she has exhibited in numerous group shows both locally and abroad, sometimes her works are brushing shoulders with the likes of Damien Hirst and Takashi Murakami. Jade has been known in Cape Town’s Urban Contemporary Art scene as an emerging Pop-surrealist. Her realistic paintings are charged with both delicate and nostalgic imagery, while forever using a soft and feminine palette. She is currently living and working in Cape Town and being represented by 34 Fine Art.
