Check out these awesome Calaveras by Sara Blake.
Sara Blake “ZSO” is an illustrator, designer, and fine artist living and loving in New York City.
ZSO is a collection of letters that she finds aesthetically and phonetically beautiful, culled together from some personally significant people, places, and things. Together they make sound much like “so,” the adverb which means “to such a great extent.” She is a person of extremes, for better or worse, so the ring of it was fitting, and the moniker has since stuck for good.
She graduated from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a concentration in Graphic Art and Postmodern Studies—she has been working in design and art direction ever since. Based out of the West Village, she now works as a freelance illustrator and exhibiting artist, as well as a freelance art director, currently working for IBM. She also owns and manages a small textile company called ZSO-NYC (www.zso-nyc.com)
