If you like violins and skulls you will definitely love this amazing Skull Violin by Mark Noll, a self-taught woodwork artist based in Florida. He creates jewelry and sculptures. Visit his website: Mark Noll Designs
Mark Noll, and 11 other talented artists, was recently invited to turn an old violin into a piece of art which is going to be auctioned off to raise money for Cantebury School in Florida. The school purchased a dozen unusable violins for their Suzuki Music Program. The Florida Craftsman Gallery asked artists to transform them into pieces of art. The violins will be auctioned in an on-going silent auction both at the Gallery and on the website. Bids will be taken from July 18th to August 23rd. 100% of the money goes to buy instruments for the kids so please visit the Florida Craftsmen Gallery for more details.
Here is Mark’s creation: This is all carved from the original violin except the tuning pegs.
