Everything is very easy when you’re a little kid. And when you grow up, you realize how much you were naive, thinking that life is easy.
Patrick Griffin is a Houston born photographer who now lives and works in New York. Patrick’s photography is a development from being a graffiti writer for many years, his photography always features a simple and often humorous narrative using other peoples graffiti written words. The cameras he uses are normally just whatever he can get his hands on as he claims to lose cameras very easily. Patrick describes himself as a typical American photographer because no matter what country he’s in, he shoots English words and settings that look like they could be in the USA. He also wanted to make clear that, no matter what he says, he doesn’t take himself too seriously.
